Nasi Dalca Rahim is located in front of the Sri Mahamariamman Temple at Queen Street, Little India, Penang.
The nasi dalca consist of simple dishes such as chicken curry, fried chicken, mutton curry, hard-boiled eggs and of course the dal. My favourite is the chicken curry.
Mee Goreng Bangkok Lane is a mamak mee situated in a Chinese coffee shop at Lebuh Bangkok (Bangkok Lane), Pulau Tikus.
Sometimes when the coffee shop is full of customers and you can't find a table to eat, you can make your order and sit at the coffee stall located on the opposite lane.
Dataran Ikan Bakar Permatang Pauh is located near the North-South Expressway, Permatang Pauh exit. You can go there through Taman Arowana.
They served many types of ikan bakar (grilled fish). During normal days there were not many clients and you can just walk-in to order. However, during the month of Ramadan, you need to make an early reservation as the place will be quite crowded with Muslims breaking their fast there.
MAJ Chapati is located at Lebuh Ah Quee in George Town.
The chapati is soft and tender. You can you can have it with many types of gravy. The popular ones are the keema (minced beef) and sardines. Some add up with chicken curry.
Apart from chapati, they also served nasi kandar for lunch. They opened early in the morning and closed quite early in the afternoon when all the dishes are all cleared by the clients.
